Your Giving Fuels Our Mission

Thank you for your generosity! Donations to NewVines International help the poor and exploited in developing countries to build new lives.

Important Note: NVI uses GiveLively as a donor platform. GiveLively is free to nonprofits, but, in addition to the normal processing fee, asks for an optional platform donation (tip) to keep the software free for us and others to use. You are under no obligation to provide a tip when you donate.*

NVI Programs & Support Options

Restoring Hope

This is NVI’s flagship program providing personal financial and business training, and coaching, for the poor in third-world countries.

Adopt a Widow

NewVines International works with older women in several African countries, many of whom have lost their husbands and are responsible for taking care of children and grandchildren. Our Adopt-A-Widow program allows you to sponsor one of these women for $50 a month for two years, providing money for food as she receives training in financial literacy and business practices and attempts to start a new business. This training has already changed many women’s lives by providing a steady source of income, and now you have the opportunity to enable more women to see transformation and renewal for themselves and their families.

NVI Mercy Fund

The NVI Mercy Fund provides specific help to very needy people. Approximately 80% of this fund supports cone gardens for widows and families facing immediate food insecurity. The other 20% is used for immediate needs such as healthcare issues or grants to pastors.

*Please note regarding our online platform:
Like all organizations that process online payments, NVI uses a professional intermediary.  They are much better equipped to maintain your data’s security than we are – it’s what they do.  In this case, NVI uses another non-profit called GiveLively, which is set up as a non-profit so as to keep the fees lower for its client non-profits.

Though it is principally funded by several high net worth individuals, GiveLively still has a thin operating margin, and so they ask donors to consider a “platform support donation” as you enter your online data.  To make it easy to fit in a small space they call it a “tip.”

As you go through the online donation process, the “Tip” button is turned “OFF” and you are under no obligation to turn it on.  IF YOU DO turn it on, the default setting is at about 11% of your donation amount.  IF YOU CHOOSE  to give to GiveLively, WE SUGGEST YOU SET THE SLIDER TO THE LOWER AMOUNT (2%).
